Welcome to Stari Tisler, an oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city where time stands still. The roots of this old coachman restaurant go back to the year 1905 and the rustic feel of the old watering hole is still very much present in our restaurant.

We are proud to say that we still follow the original recipes the chefs used at the time of Stari Tisler's opening day. At Stari Tisler there is something for everyone but we specialise in traditional Slovenian cuisine, which is beautifully complemented by the selection of Slovenian wines, beers and other beverages.

Aside from an excuisite culinary treat, Stari Tisler offers a few rooms as well. As it has in the past, Stari Tisler's location on the edge of Ljubljana's city centre makes it a perfect stop for travellers, who arrive to Ljubljana by bus or train and wish to be close to the charming attractions of the old town.
